AOT FISTBUMP

AOT Fistbump is a product in development that explores a new way of building AI - starting with human thinking, values, and behaviour, rather than technology alone.

 

It is designed to support stable conflict resolution by helping people understand perspectives, reduce escalation, and move toward outcomes that hold over time, not just short-term deals.

 

At a simple technical level, AOT Fistbump is built by studying real-world conflict situations and patterns of human reasoning, drawing on AOT.AI’s 'Art of Thinking' methodology. This approach examines how people form beliefs, misunderstand one another, shift viewpoints, and reach insight under pressure. These patterns are translated into structured conceptual models that AI systems can learn from. ​Rather than scraping opinions or optimising engagement, we work with engineers to embed human ethics, creativity, and deep reflective thinking directly into the design of the system itself.

 

Over time, this allows AOT Fistbump to learn about conflict  and pass that learning to the human-in-the-loop to support better human judgement, not automate it. Ultimately it will be building foundations for a new, human-centred science of conflict resolution. ​
